Marketpress install crashes my wordpress admin

  • I installed marketpress – using the wordpress plugin directory – and it crashed my wordpress admin dashboard with a memory allocation error. Error message:

    “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 94371840 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1966080 bytes) in /home/alecar36/alexcarberry.net/wp-includes/SimplePie/Item.php on line 2736”

    I am running WordPress 4.3.1 . Is this a known issue and how may I resolve it?

    P.S I ftped and disabled the marketpress install so the dashboard is back up and running

    Hey Alex,

    I’ve responded to the same thread that you opened in the WP Smush forum. I’ll just paste my response here and also lets keep the conversation in this thread.

    It appears that you’re posting in the wrong forum as this is WP Smush subforum. This error is related to allowed memory limit on your server so increasing memory limit should fix this problem, please check the following link:

    Try increasing it to 128M or 256M to see if that will help ??
