    Sorry for the delay.
    We’ve just updated that page to included another step for a common issue.

    Please go to Maps->Settings and ensure that your Marker XML Dir and Marker XML URL is correct?

    I have the same problem. At first the directory didn’t have the right permissions. But now that message is gone but it still does not work.

    Sorry I can’t give you a link since it is a client website and it is not launched yet.

    However I can see in the xml file that the markers I save shows up there. I wonder why it does not create markers on the map then?

    Are there any JavaScript errors on the map page?
    Do you have a caching plugin enabled?

    I actually get this: XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://media.xxx.se/wp-google-maps/1markers.xml?u=9677. No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘https://xxx.se’ is therefore not allowed access.

    It appears you are using a CDN?

    Please have a look at the following page for more information on how to get around this: https://www.wpgmaps.com/documentation/troubleshooting/my-markers-are-not-showing-on-my-map/ (specifically Step 2)

    Well.. I think it would have helped if I had a Cache plugin installed. But I don’t. I’m sure of that.

    You may not have a caching plugin enabled but it definitely looks like your server is using a CDN. The markers cannot be accessed from a domain (or subdomain) other than the domain the JavaScript file is running on.

    Yes I realized that we were using a subdomain and that is where the xml file is uploaded. And then it does not work. I’ve asked the webhosting company to remove the subdomain. Hopefully that will solve the problem. If it does not work I’ll get back to you.
