    Hi,

we’re using Waymark version 1.3.2 and we can’t create markers in new maps and can’t add images any more. Existing markers on older maps are not not shown any longer. We created a few marker types in the customizing and it used to work. I tried with current version of Chrome and Firefox.

For older maps markers do appear according our customizing settings in “display mode” – see Rund um den Flugplatz Walldorf – Rhein-Neckar Skater e.V. (rhein-neckar-skater.de) but in edit mode the markers are not shown.

Any idea how to overcome this situation?

    Thanks and kind regards, Bernd

    Hi @jamesbpn,

Thanks for reaching out and I am sorry to hear about your issue.

Are you receiving any console errors?

It’s also worth mentioning to enable Debug Mode when checking the console.

    Hi,

Thanks for your swift reply. With debug mode enabled in wp-config and in Waymark customizing settings, I’m getting this error when clicking on the “Marker” icon- basically, in MS Edge I’m getting this also without the debug mode:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading '0')
    at Waymark_Map_Editor.build_content (waymark-js.js?ver=1.3.2:10749:33)
    at Waymark_Map_Editor.info_window (waymark-js.js?ver=1.3.2:11001:25)
    at Object.onEachFeature (waymark-js.js?ver=1.3.2:8144:16)

    addData @ waymark-js.js?ver=1.3.2:1
    button.onclick @ waymark-js.js?ver=1.3.2:10212

This is the error when trying to include an image into a map via the “Image” icon:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading '0')

We have added an additional security check on folder wp-admin. But as Waymark is installed in wp-content folder this shouldn’t have a negative effect, I guess.

Hope this info is helpful to find the root cause ??
    Kind regards

    Hi @jamesbpn,

Thanks for the extra detail. Strange, I am honestly not sure what would be causing this for you, other than a conflict with your setup.

We have added an additional security check on folder wp-admin. But as Waymark is installed in wp-content folder this shouldn’t have a negative effect, I guess.

It might be systematically worth disabling other plugins and even switching themes to see if the behaviour is corrected.

Please do let me know if you make any other discoveries.

    Cheers,

    Joe
