    Hi, nice work!
I’m testing and considering to buy the Pro version for a project, and I have an issue.

Every time I edit the map for adding a polygon or marker, I need to force reload the page for all polygons markers to load. Otherwise, when I open the map on WP admin, only the first added polygon shows on the map.

I havn’t any cache plugin installed. WP and plugins up to date.

Can this behavior been avoided? I mean, load all my editions evry time I load the map for editing.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Daniel,

Thank you so much for getting in touch, we really appreciate your time.

Might I kindly ask you to perhaps confirm the exact version of WP Google Maps currently installed?

Based on the issue mentioned, this does sound to be a caching issue, however, having checked that, might I kindly ask if your perhaps your browser might not be caching this page? (Can test by using a different browser).

Lastly, if I might suggest perhaps getting in touch with us directly via our website? We should be able to help debug this issue further.

Hi Steven, thanks for answering and sorry about the delay.

I have doing some more testing, and here are the results:
    – WordPress version 5.7.2
    – WP Google Maps version 8.1.13
    – No caching plugins.
I tested on Google Chrome an Microsoft Edge browsers, the behavior is the same in both. The site was first time loaded on Edge, so no caching was possible. I also used incognito windows.

    Problem # 1:
Randomly, after saving the polygon, or even the map, the polygon does not appear either on the map or in the polygon list at the bottom of the edit page. In order for the changes to be seen, either in the admin or the front-end, sometimes it is necessary to force reload the page with Ctrl Sh R.

    Problem # 2:
When tapping the edit button for a previously saved polygon, its data is loaded at the top in the left panel, but the polygon is not displayed on the map, the way markers do. That is, the map is not repositioned to show the polygon to be edited.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi @damen02,

Thank you so much for getting back to me.

Might I kindly ask you to perhaps get in touch with us directly via our website?

One of our agents will most likely need to take a closer look into this issue in order to fully debug and determine what exactly is occurring.

We look forward to hearing from and getting this issue resolved.
