I’m running a test site on siteground with PHP 7.3.18 and Mysql 5.0.12

    This is my shortcode:
    [osm_map_v3 map_center= "51.2269,4.5186" zoom="17" width="95%" height="450" map_border="thin solid " post_markers="1" control="fullscreen,scaleline" bckgrndimg="" ]

I placed this widget on a page but Ijust can’t see the marker.

    What am I doing wrong.

    Kind regards,
    Guy

Hi @forssux did you generate this shortcode at the backend of your installation with the WP OSM Plugin Shortcode generator or manually edit/copy it?

    Hi @forssux
You have to generate the shortcode at the installation your using it since marker informatoin is saved in the database and not part of the shortcode.

Hi there I used the tool. Which is visible only in posts and copied the shortcode over to a page.

    I never touched the database.

This happens when I use normal editor and when I use Elementor

    Kind regards…

    Hello @forssux

I do not know Elementor and you need not to touch the database.

The Tool to generate the shortcode has to be available at your page, too. When you generate the shortcode the marker is saved at the page automatically.

    Hi Mika,

    I found the problem.
When I made the page I used ELEMENTOR ( a page building tool)
I didn’t see the osm plugin, I guess it’s block by elementor.

When I made a new page I noticed the plugin and everything is working. The marker shows.

So you can add to the manual always start with fresh page/post and don’t use page building tools like Elementor.

    Thanks for helping me.
