• I’m looking for a Google Maps plugin for WordPress that has the ability to use a table/view from the backend database to populate markers and a sorted/filtered table in the WordPress page. We use vTiger for our contacts database and would like to query that database for our map markers instead of having to maintain a whole different data set.

Does this plugin have the ability to do these things? If not, does anyone know of one that does?

The Pronamic Google Maps plugins works with posts in WordPress and adds the ability to enter a location per (custom) post. A map (one marker) or a mashup (multiple markers) can then be displayed.

So, unfortunately, custom data sources are not supported and there’s no integration with vTiger.
