Markdown footnotes backlinks arrow
-
Hi,
I have two questions concerning the use of footnotes in Markdown with Jetpack.
1. The arrow used in footnotes backlinks is being rendered as an emoji on some browsers (for me: desktop Chrome, iOS Chrome, iOS Safari), but not on others (desktop Firefox, desktop Safari). Is it a bug?
2. Would it be possible to change the icon/character used for the backlinks in an “elegant” way? (I say “elegant” because I’ve already done that in an “inelegant” way — with CSS, hiding the arrow and inserting a different character with a pseudo-element.)
Thanks in advance!
