Markdown block produces error when editing the plugin

    I’m trying to move to the block editor using The Jetpack Markdown block.

    The Jetpack Markdown blocks let’s me insert and schedule a block that contains an entire Markdown document.

    However, when I try to edit it I get a warning/error message that the block contains unexpected or invalid markup and asks if I want to attempt a recovery.

    If this is a Jetpack error and not an editor error when using a Jetpack block, then it would be nice if such an error contained the piece of content that is causing it

    Hi there,

    Can you tell me more about that? Did the system return any more detailed errors or messages when you do that? Does the issue happen when you operate on your wp-admin, the WordPress.com blue dashboard, or both?

    This happens when working with Jetpack in a self-hosted installation running both 5.9.3 and the latest beta/rc version

    No, the system did not return any errors and the page displayed fine, whether I left the page or I allowed it to convert the content to blocks.

    I will open a ticket directly in contact support with a screenshot and a file for you to try and reproduce.
