    hello,
Is it possible to mark an event cancelled from the WP Event backend. I have found how to do it from the front-end but I’d rather do it from the backend as this is how we will add events to our website.

    Thank you,

    Celine

  • Hi @marcommshrw,

Event cancellation option is only available for organizer at frontend. For backend you can expire event.

This will be improved after getting more requests from the customer.

    Thank you

Can I add my name to this request please.

    Thank you Itesh.
The good thing of event cancellation is that the event shows up until the day it is due to happen. If you expire the item, then you can leave it appearing but then this means that all previous expired events will appear. And also this way there is no visual clue that it’s postponed.
let’s hope this requests get momentum…
