    Hi,

I’ve asked this question in another forum (Events Manager) after testing “New” Google Maps with no luck.

For some reason I only see the maps when I’m logged in. Any ideas?

    Using Firefox when logged in.
Checking (not logged in) in Chrome and iPhone with no success.

    Kind regards,
    /Peter

Firstly, this is not the correct forum for your question, as you ar not actually using this plugin. You are still using Google Maps for EM. The notice “Map Unavailable” is not outputted by this add-on.

But to not send you away empty handed:
I see no real errors when I visit your website. The only thing(s) I can think of, is that WP Cache might be interfering. Have you tried turning that of for testing?

Also, Google now required you to register 8 API’s. If one of them is not present or incorrect, it will block all.

That is one of the main reasons why I created this replacement plugin. ??
You can easily test it by installing this plugin. Existing locations should work without an OpenCage API key. That is only used to create a new or edit a location.

Strange. I’ve (as far as I see) deactivated Google Maps integration in Events Manager. Your plugin is active and I see the maps with “OpenStreetMap” in backend. Is there anything I have missed?

    EDIT
Just turned off WP Cache and now I see the maps! ??

Should I stay away from WP Cache?

Thank you for your quick response!

There is probably an option to exclude certain pages for being cached. Wich change plugin are you using exactly? If I search for “WP Cache” I get multiple results ??

    I use WP Fastest Cache >> wpfastestcache.com

Just noticed that I can exclude certain pages. I’ll create a new rule to see if I can activate the plugin again.

    It works like a charm!
Thank you so much for your support!

    P.S.
By the way, I have registered 8 API’s with Google but it still doesn’t work.

There seem to be more caching plugins that alter the output of this plugin. Unfortunately these scripts have to be enqueued in the correct order, else it won’t work.

Glad that it worked out. I’ll look into how to prevent this for others as well (if possible).

Yeah, Google makes it harder and and harder to still like them. LOL ??
