The DNS side of things is not setup properly. It seems that site is “parked”. Try https://centralops.net/co/DomainDossier.aspx , and enter your domain name

You can see the PTR record, I don’t think that should be there. Is there any free support with GoDaddy, to help sort out the DNS side of things

Thanks so much. Since I posted this, I redirected the dns back to godaddy (since I couldn’t use my wordpress dashboard). I accidently must have hit to button to park it rather than connect it back to the hosting. So that is being addressed.

Meanwhile, I’ve been thinking, once the domain name and hosting are connected, couldn’t I just forward the domain to the folder that the wordpress database is in?

I’m 99% sure that the whole DNS side of things can only ever point to an IP address. Any ‘redirection’ to a specific folder on the site, needs to be done at the site, like Apache in .htaccess

Putting up a link at https://www.camstock.net/ to point to https://www.camstock.net/wordpress may be all you need, or modify .htaccess to ensure every request for https://www.camstock.net/ goes to https://www.camstock.net/wordpress. Depends what your needs are.
