Cheers guys. First of all: Great plugin and awesome support. Use Product Feed Pro myself and recommend it to all my clients.

I have a bit of a tricky issue. Couldn’t find anything relevant in the Forums via Google Fu.

    Situation:

    – A client has a messy data structure.
    – Due to that, it seems that sometimes I need to use ‘Brand (Custom Attribute)’ and sometimes ‘Brand (Dynamic Attribute)’.

    — Question 1:

Is there a possibility to conditionally map the data for his Facebook Shop? E.g., in a way that would check

    a) if Attribute A is empty
    b) if not empty, use Attribute A as brand
    c) if empty, use Attribute B as brand

    Or any other workarounds?

Please find attached links to XML feeds I created:

    with

    • Brand (Custom Attribute)
    • Color (Custom Attribute)
    • Size (Custom Attribute)

    with

    • Brand (Dynamic Attribute)
    • Color (Dynamic Attribute)
    • Size (Dynamic Attribute)

    — Question 2:

Could you elaborate what exactly differentiates a Custom Attribute from a Dynamic Attribute? I can’t seem to be able to wrap my head around that.
