    Hi Aurovrata,

I have a form with a few dropdown lists which I want to map as customs taxonomies. According to the FAQ I should:

    1. create the custom taxonomies. I understand this is directly done from you mapping page pressing + below “Custom Taxonomy (no spaces allowed)” in order to add a new toaxonomy to the current “categories” one.

    2. See my custom taxonomy in my left menu in wordpress. I see them.

    3. I should add terms to my taxonomies and those will pre-filled in my forms fields, HOWEVER, since I already created the options for the dropdown list when I created the form fields, now, I see the each term appearing twice (one due to my definition when creating the form and the other due to adding the terms to the taxonomy -as you mention in the instructions-). In addition to this, when I submit the form, no taxonomies terms in any taxonomy is passed to the forms.

If I don create the terms for the taxonomies, it appears to work in the fort end (although it still not does not pass taxonomies terms to the post) the first time I use it but after reloading the page I get:

“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/41/d345092183/htdocs/we-go/wp-content/plugins/post-my-contact-form-7/includes/class-cf7-2-post-factory.php on line 1221”

Maybe you need a bit more info, please, let me know if I can better explain anything.

    Javier

    Hi,

For some reason, changing the slug definition in the custom taxonomy definition from its default value (posttype_customtaxonomy). If I keep it, it works ok.

This is not a problema for me but maybe it is interesting for you to know.

Now my form shows the right terms for each taxonomy! but when a I tried to Access from a mobile device, the form fields are empty. Apparently taxonomy terms are not trasferred to form fields when the form is shown in a mobile (ios) device.

I found that the issue is not related to the browser or os. If I have already loged in as adminsitrator the form takes the defined taxonomis terms as fields.

When trying to use the form as guest, it appear empty.

    Hi Javier

apologies for this late reply, I was busy with some other projects.

HOWEVER, since I already created the options for the dropdown list when I created the form fields, now, I see the each term appearing twice (one due to my definition when creating the form and the other due to adding the terms to the taxonomy -as you mention in the instructions-).

yes, you should not fill in any options for dropdowns you want to map to a taxonomy.

When trying to use the form as guest, it appear empty.

that’s interesting. Could you try with version 1.3.0, I have done a lot of bug fixing regarding guest usage of forms. If the bug persists, please post again on this form and I will have a look.
