• I have two pages that are mapped to their own domains using this plugin, which works great. However, they won’t appear in the XML sitemap. I’ve turned on/off XML sitemaps to try to force them to work, but they aren’t. The sitemap lists every page but the 2 that are mapped with this plugin.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    hy,

    we just made sure that it has nothing to do with the latest version of the yoast plugin, but i works fine in our test environments.

    i know that this is often annoying, but in that case i need to ask you to find a way to test it in a clean environment on the same server, maybe with subdomains, to figure out if it may be related to any other plugin/theme stuff :/

    i guess you are talking about https://www.witchbeam.com.au/assault-android-cactus/ as one of these pages? i saw that this is forwarded to you addon-domain. maybe it could be that this forward is somehow interacting with your sitemap??

    please let me know if you can reproduce that error in a clean install.

    good luck
    matt

    Yes, that’s one of the pages, i use the plugin Redirection to send users who visit that page URL to the domain.

    I did try temporarily disabling that redirect and turning on/off the Yoast SEO sitemaps to see if that would let the page be included in the sitemap, but it didn’t change anything.

    I’ll see if I can find time to test in a clean environment.

    Hi. Still waiting for help.

    Looks like the problem occurs only when I setup my secondary domain to link to specific page. So in settings:

    http[s]://domain2com => https://domain1.com/mypage

    This works for home page and when visiting domain2.com I see ‘mypage’ as homepage. However if I try to go to other pages, I keep getting 404 error. If I remove this setting and just keep this:

    http[s]://domain2.com => https://domain1.com/

    Then everything works. So to me it looks like your plugin is trying to redirect all pages to domain1.com/mypage even when I am going to domain2.com/myanotherpage it tries to open domain1.com/mypage/myanotherpage. Probably, Im not sure. But it def. looks like it. By default it probably should redirect only the homepage, not all other pages.

    Creatium, that doesn’t seem too related to my problem, maybe try posting it as its own thread?

    Omg, yes, sorry. I just clicked on the wrong thread to post my message. Have my own opened.
