    Hey @mengeco,

Thanks for opening a new thread on this. I could reproduce the issue. This happens due to different “quality” (detail level) with the different map tile providers. So with Map Style #1 there are some missing tiles on zoom level 13 – 15. I can’t do much about it and would recommend to choose a different map style.

What do you think about this idea:
I could implement another new setting to define the maximum zoom level (minimum zoom level is already possible). So in your case setting this to 12 would prevent from zooming to close.

And with some next release I will probably add more map styles to choose from.

    Best Regards,
    Daniel

    Hello,

    Hello,
I believe that for the credibility of your plugin, it is important not to offer incomplete maps, even if it is not related to your development, because it is a reason to abandon the plugin, which is however very good and which is also a nice alternative to Google.

I also have the problem with a zoom level of 12: https://snipboard.io/yaBIDG.jpg

I think the zoom limitation is not a good idea as it may not suit some users.

I don't know where we can view all the available maps (I don't see anything on Leaflet Map JS)

And for the plugin, I think it would be much better to group the settings (Settings > Open User Map) with the apparent tab "Open User Map"

    Best Regards
    Pierre

    Hey Pierre,

I will probably add the max zoom setting though. It would be optional and could be useful also in other use cases.

I’ve tested your choosen map style (screenshot) with the region Saint-Denis and did not experience the issue there. Can you please try yourself on https://www.open-user-map.com/demo/ ? If it works there it was either a temporary problem or maybe some issue with lazy loading on your page. Do you use Jetpack or some other plugin that enables lazy loading for images on your website?

Thanks for the hint with the placement of the Plugin Settings. I will consider that for a next release.

    Best Regards,
    Daniel

    Hello,

I tested with and without cache plugin and I don’t use Jetpack.
I tested on your site and I encounter the same pb (1st test at Seychelles)

And I believe that to start generalizing your plugin, you should just grant a single custom icon in the free version (which can already be exploited by replacing the default image). Then those who want to go further will pay for the Pro version.

    Best Regards
    Pierre
