    Hi John,

Thanks for your message. Yes indeed, this is an issue you’ve uncovered with this particular map style. The shadow image is a fixed image, so it doesn’t work well with dynamically sized maps.
The new version of the plugin (which will be available in 2 or so weeks) will contain 2 new map styles with single corner shadows (as opposed to shadows in both corners), which will not have this issue with dynamically sized maps.

Once again my apologies for this issue you’re experiencing.

    Kind regards,
    Steven

    Hi John,

Just to let you know, I’ve released a new version of the plugin which includes two new map templates, with shadows in the right and left bottom corners respectively. These are not dependent on the map bing a fixed pixel width, and work on all dynamically sized maps. Have a look, you might find it’s a good replacement for the template discussed above.

    Kind regards,
    Steven

    Thank you Steven.

I updated my plugin and thanks for including the two extra themes. However, having the shadow only on the left or right seems that the map almost want’s to be turned as a page. It would look great if the shadow was isometric – similar to #3 – and work on dynamically sized maps. Perhaps something to think about for future releases.

I’ll just changed the map theme to #1 without any shadows for now.

Thanks again for your prompt reply and adding the two extra themes.

    Cheers!
    John
