    I have been having all kinds of issues with Google Maps this week. I’m not sure why my API key would have stopped working all of a sudden, but I’ve created a new one and just can’t get them to work! I’ve tried other plugins… was originally using SiteOrigin’s Map Widget. This one begins to load and show the markers but then goes away and says…
    “Oops! Something went wrong.
    This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.”

    I don’t know JavaScript well enough to troubleshoot on my own. Can someone help?

    Firstly, please try to generate a new API key and add it once again.

    Secondly, we advise you to check whether you have another plugin which has it own map. You may have this issue because of a conflict between the maps.

    I have exactly the same problem as @ksamsmile on my website since one week.
    No added plugin lately.
    I have generate a new API key and that doesn’t fix the problem.

    I too was fighting with this and in the end discovered something interesting. When you copy the API key from google it has a space before the key so when you paste it into the box it keeps giving you an error. Once I removed the space everything started working again as it should.
