Map shows front end but not in admin

I have the latest version of the plugin, I have an API key, and my map is showing front end, however in /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-google-maps-menu&action=edit&map_id=1 it says ‘Oops! Something went wrong.’ and I can’t make changes to markers.
