    Hi there,

    I want to eventually purchase the Pro version of the plugin but I cannot get the map to load. I’ve tried using a base theme with only Elementor and the Open Maps plugin active (I’m currently using Hello Elementor), but the map will not load on my site. The only error in the console is: “Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received.”

    Any idea what’s going on?

    Hi @bluelotus10,

    This particular error message is mostly related to some Chrome browser extension issue and should not block Open User Map from running. Could you provide me with a link to a page where you are trying to show the map? You can also send a support request here if you don’t want to share your URL here in the forum.

    Hi @bluelotus10,

    I’ve checked your site again and noticed that the map is already implemented but just not visible.

    Solution:
    This happens because you are applying additional styles from Elementor that conflict with the styles of the map. Please remove the additional styles, especially display: flex from this the module.

    Alternatively you can also just set a width (e.g. 100%) to the module (and keep the flex).

    @bluelotus10 Now I can see that it works on your site. Can you please let me know how the Elementor module came to have a display: flex property? I’m curious if this problem can affect other Elementor users too.

    YES! It worked beautifully, and that was the only core update I had to do in order for the map to show up. I’ll be grabbing a pro subscription shortly. Thanks again!
