I am building a new website
I installed a widget on the dashboard page.
When I go to settings, I put the Lat and Lon as 51.652 -0.1181
The map widget has the pin in the right place, but always starts by being too far north.
Is there a reason for this?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

The widget may be reverting to the default value for the longitude if it has too many figures after the decimal place. Try shortening it to -0.118 and let me know how you get on. If you’re still experiencing issues, please share the url to where you have the widget embedded.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    David

I have worked around this by making the widget taller.
Difficult to share as the site requires user registration
I could share a screenshot but I am not sure how I do this on this site

If you still need assistance you could use a service like https://snipboard.io/ and link to the screenshot? I’d need to see the widget settings so I could replicate what you’re experiencing. Thanks

I spoke to soon. THe map is still north of Enfield.
When I am in customise mode for the home page the Windy map is correctly centred
Here is the link to a screen clip with the settings shown

When viewing the home page out of customise mode the map reverts to being too far north!

    Very odd

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

I don’t see anything obvious, I’ve tried the same settings and it’s displaying in the right area for me?

Your longitude seems to be set to the default (approx. at the same height as Dublin). The issue could be related to caching, I’m not sure. But it does seem the settings are ok and I wasn’t able to replicate the issue.
