Map no longer shows since update to WP 5.7.2 (and today, 5.8)

    Hello, WP GM team,

    On [ redundant link removed ], we have a Google Map near the top of the front page. Since updating to WP 5.7.2 yesterday (and today, 5.8), the map no longer shows. A large white space appears where it should be.

    We deactivated and re-activated the WP GM plugin as well as the Pro add-on, we also disabled all other plugins, but the issue remained. We also cleared the cache and subsequently deleted the WP Super Cache plugin altogether. Lastly, we deleted and re-implemented the shortcode on the front page. However, the map still won’t show.

    The map is correctly set up and the shortcode ([wpgmza id=”1″]) remains properly implemented on the front page.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I restored a full backup I made of the site right before installing all the updates.

    Now, WP is still version 5.8, but everything else (plugins, theme, contents…) has been reverted to the state from January 19th. I think the last time we did any updates to the site before then was in November, 2020.

    The issue still occurs with the semi-old version of the website.

    Apart from the PHP error visible at the top of the front page, this site is running as intended.

    Thanks for your response, Steven! We have since found out that enabling the jQuery override in the Troubleshooting Options fixes the issue. ?? Best regards, and have a good weekend!
