I just installed the plugin, I updated the map name to Arabic name and I got question marks.

    Arabic: ????? ??????
    Result: ????? ??????

please for the table wpgmza_maps use CHARSET=utf8 instead of CHARSET=latin1 when creating it.

Now I have to do an extra step after each time I install the plugin to change the charsets of the table and fields.

Thank you for the great plugin.

Follow up: how about not setting the cartset, and let it use the default of the database?

Because the default WP now is utf8mb4 not utf8. And also someone, maybe, prefer to use another charset suitable to his language.

    Hi there.

So sorry about this, we did not realize it would have such an effect on the other languages. We’ll address this as soon as possible.

My sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.
