  • Hello cssofttest,

The error that we are seeing on the map is not an error produced on our end. The error is showing a “MissingKeyMapError” which is a Google Maps error.

It may be that the theme designer may need to add a Google Maps API to the theme itself. However, our team here would need to look into this issue with your site a bit more deeply in order to help diagnose the issue.

We’ll need you to send an email in to our Support Team, [email protected] , so we can help look into this further.

    Hello cssofttest,

Turns out, Google now requires a Google Maps API key for all [new] domains. Old domains that were using Google Maps were grandfathered in. However, all new domains need to have their own API key.

You’ll need to sign up for a Google Maps API key to help resolve this. However, we’ll also need to build a spot for you to input that key for dsIDXpress.

We’ll be working on this ASAP, however, the earliest this will be completed might be next week. In the meantime, unfortunately, maps will not function.

I see there was a ticket open with our Support Team for portlandrealestateproperties.com this morning regarding another question. I’ll reopen that ticket so that our team can update you once we have implemented this new feature.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Have a great day!

    Hi,
I am still awaiting reply on your end regarding include API key in script. I was trying to do but didn’t understand.

    Please reply on that ASAP.

    Thanks

    Hello cssofttest,

We will be building a new feature into dsIDXpress that will allow you to input the Google Maps API key sometime soon. We are *hoping* to have that completed this week. Once that has been completed, we will notify you via the open ticket you have with our Support Team currently.

We appreciate your patience and hope you have a wonderful day!

    Thank you!

As you are aware, we did complete this task a couple weeks ago so I am resolving this post. Thank you!
