    Dear team,

I installed the plugin and followed the instructions.

Please have a look here .
As you can see on the link, I use an API key, went to settings > widgets and entered an address, then tried with precise google coordonates. And nothing changes when I insert the widget in my page. Nothing apperas except the map title. If I change the adress in the settings, it won’t change in the page builder widget menu…

Just to be sure. I created a new API after this video and registered it in WP dashboard settings. It has no effect on the display problem.

I use Elementor pro and GeneratePress theme.

    Can you help?

    Thank you ??

@geoffmanonlfo it seems that the api key is not correctly configured. Google services is returning a 403 status for that api key.

@manuelrocha88 thank you for your reply.
I thought we had to add *.example.com/* OR example.com/*. My mistake.
So I just added example.com/* which was missing.

Unfortnuately it doesn’t solve the problem. Maybe there is something else?

here is the details for the API key.

Thank you for taking the time.

@geoffmanonlfo I would remove the first *.example.com/*. You don’t need it and also it seems wrong because it seems there is space between the * and the dot and also between the / and *.

Anyhow, now that I took a careful look into the url that is being called it doesn’t reflect what you configured.

    http//maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?key=AIzaSyCagDfILwOigVPmEVbXL3FqOI8U_WIQ7cA&scale=1&format=png&zoom=13&size=250×250&language=en&maptype=roadmap&markers=size%3Adefault%7Ccolor%3A0xff0000%7Clabel%3AA%7CNew+York%2C+USA&center=New+York%2C+USA&visual_refresh=true

As you can see with the bold the api and address is not the ones that you inserted. Please check careful on your side all the configuration.

If you want reach me: https://www.webfactoryltd.com/contact-support/

Give me access to your backend and I can also look into it if you can’t solve it.

    @manuelrocha88 thanks foryour answer.

I suppressed the *.example.com/* as you recommend. The map still doesn’t want to appear.
The address isn’t the same as what I entered in the widget settings.
It seems to stick with the default address of New York.

For the API key, for me it’s the same everywhere: on my google account, the link, widget settings.

I contact you in private with the admin login and password.
thank you so much for taking time!

@geoffmanonlfo ?It’s done. You can control it now, and only, from the widget section.
    ?
?Anyway, API key now is correct but still is returning 403. Remove all restrictions and make the api available for anything. Then, if it works, start doing restriction one by one till the one it fail. As soon as you get ride of the 403 plugin will start working.

As you can see here, the map is only displayed if you clic on it.

How can I display it directly on the webpage?

    Thank you

@geoffmanonlfo it’s permissions issue. When You fix it, it will work properly.

You can check that, like in the picture, using chrome developer console. When You fix the permission it will work. There’s nothing we can do

    Hi again,

I fixed the API issue. The Static Maps API was missing.

The Map is displayed now, but I can’t change any parameter (map size, address…)
    See here

    I would like to :
    – change the location
    – hide title
    – a large map (full size of widget)
    – and something like that with the name of the company

    thank you
