    Greetings!

I am new to GravityPDF so please feel free to correct me if I type nonsense ??

The documentation states that GravityPDF can be used to “auto-fill existing PDFs” but I am having trouble finding such developer documentation for the specific purpose of mapping gravity forms fields to an existing PDFs fields. Is this supported?

Does this require recreating the pdf in HTML/CSS/PHP rather than simply mapping field input?

Your demo of filling out a W-9 is impressive….would you consider adding that to the included templates or have a template like this available for download to tinker with?

Thank you in advance! The tools you are equipping the WordPress Developer community with are AWESOME!

    Hi Matt,

Not to worry. There’s no nonsense here!

Gravity PDF does have the ability to auto-fill existing PDFs, but this is strictly limited to customers who utilise our integration services.

In future we will be releasing a Developer Toolkit with those features as a premium add-on, but that’s a little ways down the road right now.

Ideally we would love to make all these dev tools available for free, but it’s just not viable with the amount of time and resources it takes to build and maintain. We need to ensure Gravity PDF is commercially viable so we can continue enhancing the free software for everyone to enjoy.

I’m glad that I wasn’t able to find documentation for this because it isn’t there ??

I hope that this will become available at some point to the public (premium or free). I will most likely be trying out Gravity Forms to PDF Auto-Fill Solution.

Thank you for your prompt reply!

    Grace to you,
    Matthew Selby

    No drama, Matthew.

Just make sure your hosting will allow you to install the PDFTK library. That solution isn’t friendly towards shared hosting.
