Chrome developer tools show that the GoogleMaps API isn’t being told any geographic location to load. This to me would point to some problem with the query to Strava to get the segment geographic location / LAT-LONG, but I can’t spot the source of the error.

I went back to the WP-Strava settings and re-entered my Strava Client ID and Client Secret, but it was no help. I even put the same information again in the additional athlete fields for same and I got the happy message that a new Strava Token was successfully retrieved.

@aetherscythe if you can leave that debug page up it will be helpful. I’m working on this plugin tomorrow (Friday) and will take a look.

@jrfoell Sure thing. And if you can tell me how to get you some meaningful logs I am happy to provide. I turned on WPSTRAVA_DEBUG but didn’t find any logs, I guess because nothing generated an exception.

@aetherscythe turns out the polyline (track) on that particular segment was really long. Normally the map falls back to use a “summary polyline” that is smaller, but it’s not provided for segments. I added a function to reduce the number of points so it’s not so long. Please check out 2.10.0 and let me know if you have any issues!

A “nice to have” would be to include the name of the segment, but I can always add the text above the block, by-hand.
