  • I don’t see the map on that page. Is it supposed to be in the large black section?

Yes, it is supposed to be where the black is!

That’s probably not going to work because Google Maps gets really finnicky when things are loaded via JS or after the initial page load.

Sorry but you won’t be able to put it there.

    Hi Pippin,

I’m facing this issue also. The map goes black screen on this page.

    It’s WP4.0.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

It looks like that area is loaded via jQuery or has some special effects on it. Googles Maps doesn’t work well when loaded that way; it needs to be loaded by default at the start of the page load.

Thanks a lot for your help guy but…

Can you point of specifically which Jquery scripts is not correctly enqueued ?
Where do I have to correct it?

I checked via DevTool and have no idea since jquery.js is loaded within <head> as usual. No js errors on that page also ;(

I also didn’t do anything special than echo pw_map shortcode.

    Thanks again

I can’t tell you for sure, it’s part of the theme.

Does it work in the standard page content?

Just tried and it works by adding it to normal page content ;(

I’ll check it more in detail.

    Thanks a lot ??
