    Hi,

I’ve been playing with the plugin for a while now and I find it really nice.

However, I am trying to display multiple locations on the same map/page unified by tag (say tag=”apple-market”). Which seemed to be working, but then when I introduced a new tag (say tag=”banana-market”) and wanted to display only the “banana-market” posts on a new page, the map was showing everything (all posts with a map): the “apple-market” and the “banana-market” posts. Hope I explained that well!

Is this normal? I am using the free version.

Also, is it possible to use more than one tag? As if to create 2 or more layers. For example to display apple, banana and pear markets on the same page.

And if it possible, what would be the code? Is the below correct?

    [codepeople-post-map width=”800″ height=”400″ tag=”apples,bananas,pears”]

Thank you so much in advance!

    Hi,

If you are using the free version of the plugin the “tag” attribute is not working in your map for filtering the points. You are seeing multiple points in the map because the plugin loads all points in the post where is inserted the map, and the points in the posts that share the same categories, until get the number of points defined in the plugin’s settings.

So, if you want filter the points by the tags in the posts, you should use the premium version of the plugin. To use multiple tags for filtering, separate them by comma symbol, and the map will display all points in posts with any of the tags selected.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

Yes, if you want filtering the points on map by posts tags, you should install the premium version of the plugin.

    Best regards.
