Map Default Location

  • Hello.

    I would like to have the map showing a country or a city before the visitor press the Calculate button.

    You told me to use the placeholder for showing a country by default on the text boxes so I went to the shordcodes.php and add the values I want in the placeholder attribute of the input. Now when I refresh the map I get the placeholder values but the map is not showing. You have to press calculate to show. I tried also with the value attribute but did not work either.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Efstraatios,

    Got your point, You want to show a default location on the map when user comes to the website.

    To achieve this goal you would need to change distance.js file and the map functions to display a default location.

    We would have this option in the future version of this plugin but right now there is no settings available for that. You may need to hack into distance.js file.

    If you face any issues in doing this then let us know our developers are available for any customization at a very cheap rate.
