We converted a page with google maps to blocks and the blocks used default ’embed’ blocks. These showed nothing but code.
So I found this plugin, figuring to switch to the map block. Turned it on and instantly all those ‘not working’ embed blocks started working. I do not know what this plugin adds, but obviously, something worked.

However, I decided it would be best to try and switch to the ‘proper’ blocks and duplicated the page for the switch. But none of the actual embed blocks work. I get nothing but blank spaces (which looks better than code, but still, not what I am after)

I did try using the Health and Troubleshooting plugin. Using that, it shows that even with everything else disabled and a default theme, this embed map plugin reads a blank.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @starhorsepax2,

It seems really strange. I have checked your issue and tried to recreate the same but EmbedPress Google Map Block works fine on my end. Please check this screencast – https://d.pr/v/BpyXDd

Besides, You can check for Plugin conflicts by going to your WordPress Dashboard and navigating to wp-admin -> Plugins and then, deactivate other Plugins. If it solves the issue you can activate one by one until you find the problematic plugin.

If the issue still persists, please create a support ticket here

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you!
