map and location extension not working

    I purchased map and location extension in december to use now in March but it doesn’t work with wpadvert. Having followed the set up instructions,

    “Once you have the add-on installed, go to wp-admin / Classifieds / Options / Maps and Locations panel in order to configure it. You should see form similar to the one below:”

    It doesn’t show the required page

    I am not sure, can you let me know (or even better post a screenshot) of what do you see in wp-admin / Classifieds / Options panel?

    If you have the Maps and Locations add-on installed and activated then you should see in the Options panel a “Maps and Locations” box with “Settings” button.

    The options menu with maps and location still shows the get addon button instead of settings

    As you can see in the image, the add on is installed

    how do you have uploaded the plugin?
    Via Installer from Backend or direct via FTP? If you have uploaded via FTP directly, please check if your MAL folder is correct and not nested.

    It looks like you do not have the Maps and Locations extension installed in wp-admin / Plugins panel at all?

    After purchase, you should be redirected to your unique client panel at https://wpadverts.com/ from there you can download the extension zip file to your computer and install it from wp-admin / Plugins / Add New / Upload panel then the “Get this addon” button should change to Settings.

    If you uploaded this add-on already then make sure that it is in wp-content/plugins/wpadverts-mal directory.

    It is installed under wp-content/plugins/wpadverts-mal directory as you can see in the installed plugin list.

    I don’t know why it is not enabled even as the extension is installed.

    Can you also check via FTP if the plugin is in the correct directory (even if it is listed in wp-admin / Plugins list it still can be in an incorrect directory on the server)..

    Specifically i mean the list of directories inside wp-content/plugins folder.

    It is sorted now. i downloaded the files more than once and they were renamed. SO i deleted them all and downloaded again and it solved the problem.
