Hello there,, we are seeing as many as 15-20+ websites of our customers being continuously hacked and getting redirected to random sites. when investigated we have found that deactivating and getting rid of our “fav” wp-supercache has prevented the attacks.
Anyone else facing the issue ? Attacks very fast and good enough to ruin the credibility of the vendors. Even newly created website on latest wordpress and WP supercache also got hacked today.

I am concerned if this is the case. I have just installed this on two sites that were only just cleaned from being hacked 2 weeks ago. I need to have an answer on this right away.

    Hi @aadind and @elliekennard,

If those sites are getting hacked, it’s not because of WP Super Cache. Cybersecurity is one of our core specialties. This is a solid and secure plugin. Feel free to review its security track record. It hasn’t had a security vulnerability in a year and a half, and each time it has had one, it was fixed quickly. On the contrary, W3TC has had a number of recent vulnerabilities.

It’s far more likely that a site was hacked because of poor user security practices, outdated plugins themes, or any number of other factors.

I can confidently say that this plugin is safe. Feel free to research the facts for yourself, but they won’t contradict.
