try changing the padding top of 20px on #contentleft to margin top of 20px instead.

(not sure how this affects other browsers).

the dropdown does currently work, but you need to hover over the top half of the link as that div obscures it for some reason.

There may also be other solutions.

now trying to find out why there is space between the navbar and the content of the site in Firefox and Explorer and not in Chrome.

there may be a better solution than mine, like setting a height on container for that menu.. but cross browser testing remotely isn’t easy.
