• Hello all,

I checked google index coverage and found way too many pages that have been excluded (Alternate page with proper canonical tag) most of these pages are blog posts that I have.

    for example:
https://www.xxxxx.com/6382/how-to-learn-cooking ( this is the link of the post)

google will also crawl another link that goes like this.

    https://www.xxxxx.com/6382/how-to-learn-cooking/?bbp_reply_to=6804&_wpnonce=2637e1a871

and then google says its Alternate page with proper canonical tag.

I have like 500 posts all indexed fine, and about 10k are excluded and they include ?bbp_reply_to=6804&_wpnonce=2637e1a871 or smothing similar to it.

google reboots are hitting my site too much, and I am on the process of finding out what the robots are going for.

    I wounder what this ?bbp_reply_to=6804&_wpnonce=2637e1a871.

I had and I copied the topics and created new posts. like copy and paste. then I reset it and then deleted it. I wonder if it has soething to do with bbpress.

    Thank you for the support.

  • Do you have bbPress installed? As that looks like a reply in a bbPress topic/forum/etc. You’ll want to set noindex replies in your sitemap. Usually an SEO plugin can do that for you.

I deactivated and deleted Bbpress a month ago, no index for it anymore
