I have a form which is been in use for 7 years. I was asked to make a revision to it today and found that the file upload fields are not accepting most filetypes. Not sure when it quit working, but I only discovered it when editing something else.

    My shortcode:

    [file cert-of-liability limit:5mb]

When one clicks on the button, the accepted filetypes are opus, flac, webm, weba, wav, ogg, and other media types. But the types of files I am seeking – particularly PDF, DOC/DOCX and JPG – are not.

I recognize the issue may be not with CF7 itself, but I am looking for some guidance and suggestions on what the problem might be. Thank you.

    Thank you for the reply.

Adding specific filetypes to the shortcode isn’t making any difference.

I’m sure the root issue is not with CF7 but with something else. However, I have been unable to isolate the issue.

While investigating, I found that the multiple-file upload field (via another plugin) is still accepting all filetypes, so I have replaced the standard single-file upload field, with the multiple-file upload field. For now that will be sufficient.

    Thanks for your help.
