Importing .csv files (which have been exported using EDD) can not be imported back into EDD:

Fatal error: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported in Standard input code on line..."many"

Looking at the source code of the latest EED version (2.11.4), this plugin is still using the “parseCSV” class from early 2014 (0.4.3 beta version).

Using curly braces in offset has been deprecated since PHP 7.4 (2019).

Hello @duisterdenhaag, I’m sorry for the trouble!

We have this fixed in EDD 3.0 but since it’s not released yet we are going to apply the fix to 2.11.5.

    Thank you @dgoldak,
That patch will make me stay with EED 2.11.5.

I have tried the 3.0 beta, but a lot of filters have been taken out and migrating made me loose client info such as company names and vat numbers. There is also no filter to correct the date format in EED 3.0 if your website is not using the US date formatting.

@duisterdenhaag I’m sorry the migration process hasn’t worked well for you. You mention company name and VAT numbers, since VAT is handled by 3rd party extnesions, can you confirm with the developer that the extension version is compatible with EDD 3.0?
