    Hi,

At the moment plugin sets links in order of configuration. What do you think to allow manual configuration of priorities?

    Best,

    Albert

    Hi Albert,

thanks for getting in touch and sharing your idea.

At the moment plugin sets links in order of configuration

This is the standard behavior (“first configured gets first used for linking”). Have you already seen the option “Order for configured keywords while linking” in the plugin settings section?
There you have some further possibilities for individualization.

We plan to offer even more flexibility in the future, such as an individual arrangement of keywords on a post basis. Unfortunately, there is currently no concrete timetable for this.

Let me know if you have specific ideas or requirements that such a feature should fulfill.

    Cheers

    Hi,

I am just going to onboard the pro version and will be introducing a lot of configuration in one go. At the moment I have 600 keywords (mostly outgoing to our eshop) and 300 blogposts.

Risk for me is combination of few factors:
    – because of UX we need to introduce linking limits
    – because of linking limits some targets will not be linked
    – what is linked, and what isn’t is cannot be managed, so we may end up in a situation where we link to less important targets

I feel that ideal functionality would be, that we have a database of targets (keyword + link) with manageable priorities, i.e. change in priorities would update linking accordingly making sure our top content is linked.

    Alternatives for us are:
    A) we accept the above risk that important content will be underlinked
    B) we need to manage this manually and be mindful in what order we configure keywords (i.e. most important first), what is tad troublesome
