manually insert captcha into form

My client site was expereincing a enormous amount of spam going through their Contact Form 7 so their host suspended their account until the issue can be resolved. I canNOT get to the dashboard of the site so I am having to edit code manually via FTP.
How do I add a captcha directly to the code for the form?
