Manually Design the hierachy doesn’t work

    Hello WordPress members,
    I selected product category and “Manually design the hierarchy with drag & drop”
    So I created three fields:

    Cat 1
    – Subcat
    Cat 2

    But when I click on import it just creates three main categories and no subcategories.
    What am I doing wrong here ?

    Parent: Dog
    Sub: Toys

    Parent: HOF

    The settings from your screenshot really should have worked, and they are working in my tests. Can you please replicate this issue on a sandbox site at https://www.wpallimport.com/debug/ and open a support request at https://www.wpallimport.com/support/ with details about the issue and the URL to the sandbox site? We’ll have to see it in action to understand what’s happening.

    What should de CSV structure be to get the following category structure: Parent: Dog Sub: Toys Parent: HOF

    Another way you could do that is by putting the categories in 1 cell with this format:

    Dog > Toys | HOF

    You could use that in the “An element in my file contains the entire hierarchy” field with “Separate hierarchy groups via symbol” enabled: https://d.pr/i/WiYuXR.
