Manually creating fixtures instead of auto

  • Currently, once you enter clubs, the plugin automatically creates fixtures for the clubs. Is it possible to disable the auto feature and instead enter the fixtures manually?

    Thank you Roch for writing back. Well, let me explain briefly my setup. I have 5 clubs captured in Sportspress. Naturally, on the clubs row on the image, you notice how the teams have been pitted against each other. Well, what I want is different from that point onwards. On the image, see ‘Match’ row, I have set up the matches to be between each of the 5 clubs on the system vs OTHER. The ‘OTHER’ will always be a random, different and unknown team.

    Now my question is, can I ndo away with the fixture like ‘K vs Chel’, underlined in red on the image, and instead have my own ‘K vs Other’, that I will still feed the outcome and have it update my League Table accordingly.?

    I hope I have communicated ?? LOL

    Just open that ‘eliminate auto fixturing and do it manually’ on a new tab, you will see the image

    Another thing, can you recommend a theme that would bring out the best of sportspress?

    Hi!

    I can see the issue but I’m still not sure on what is causing it.

    If you are manually adding the team after creating the event you can just erase the current title and click save, a new title will be generated using the current team.

    Otherwise you can manually edit the title if you want to, it is created automatically but it’ll keep anything you add there.
