    Hi there!

I’ve got a quick question. Is it possible to manually assign a certificate to a user after they’ve already completed the course? I’ve added the engagement after the student completed the course, and the certificate wasn’t automatically assigned when I created the engagement.

    I hope there is a way…

    Kind regards,
    Luc

  • Hi @riflefish1,

Unfortunately, no there no way to assign the certificate retroactively.

However, that said you can recreate the trigger if you go into LifterLMS->Reporting->Student->(the student in question)->Course. This will show you a page where you can mark the last lesson incomplete and then mark it complete again as the admin.

If you take these steps you should be able to trigger the certificate manually on the back end.

    I apologize for the inconvenience!

Please let us know if you have any further questions!

    Thanks and take care,

    Hi @nrherron,

Thank you for your response. The workaround stated above is a solution that suffices for me. I’m just glad there is a way to still be able to assign the certificates to the students without them having to retake the course.

    Kind regards,
    Luc
