Manually adding code shows wrong settings

I have chosen to add the shareaholic icons manually on my theme using this code:

<?php echo do_shortcode ('[shareaholic app="share_buttons" id="<insert shareaholic app ID here>"]'); ?>

but when going to the plugin settings and editing the icons, layout etc it still shows the old settings. but when i choose the automatic placement (below post) it shows the right settings.

check this screenshot. the one at top is the one i want with the manually code im adding to my theme, while the one at bottom is the one im getting with the manual code.
