Manually add GTM ID

    Hi,

    I’m building a new site for a client. They already have a Google Tag Manager ID and it’s in use on their existing site. Is there anyway for me to manually add their GTM ID into my new site, with this plugin, instead of having to get their Google login credentials or asking them to go through all the setup steps?

    Hi there @ahortin, thanks for your question. To add the clients Tag Manager code to the new site, you will need to have access to that GTM container. The client can grant you access to this if you don’t already have it from the Tag Manager container settings under User Management.

    Once you have been granted the permissions you should be able to set up Tag Manager on the new site with your email that has access to that container where you will be able to select it as part of the Tag Manager module setup in Site Kit.
