Manual upgrade to utf8mb4

Hi there,
I’m already in wp4.4.2, and just upgraded to mysql 5.5 (required to upgrade tables utf8->utf8mb4 in order to accept emojis)
I’d like to force upgrade my tables, without waiting for the next wp-version who could upgrade automatically.
How can I do that in a safe way please ?
