    So did you remove the

    define( 'WP_CACHE', true );

    From wp-config.php

    As well as delete the advanced-cache.php file in the wp-content folder.

    Delete any of the added WP Super Cache rules to the .htaccess file.

    Then resave permalinks?

    All 7 steps in the “how to manually uninstall” and the other 4 steps in the “if all else fails and your site is broken” instructions. We had to restore the site from backup.

    Can’t happen, sorry.

    Deleting the folder and removing two lines from wp-config does the job.

    I was able to get into my site. It broke my slider and other image links. I ended up having to restore my site.
    So, if I am understanding this right. Just remove the 2 lines from wp-config and the entire WP Super Cache plugin folder.

    @seovrjoyd

    Yes two lines, the WP_Cache True and the path of the cache at the top.

    And then delete the folder of the plugin.

    If those are done, there is NO WAY for the plugin to load, probably you realize that.

    It has been deactivated for a long time so I am surprised it messed up my site after I followed the original 7 step instructions. I will try again.
