Hi, I’m appreciating the flexibility of the plugin.

I’m using WPML multilanguage plugin to manage languages.
My setting allow to have the same page name for many languages, for example:

ENGLISH Page name: “Contacts” URI: /contacts/
ITALIAN Page name: “Contacts” URI: /contacts/=?lang=it
FRENCH Page name: “Contacts” URI: /contacts/=?lang=fr

When I create a manual redirect rule, and I enter the page name, the plugin matches all the pages with that name (that’s ok) but I cannot understand the page language.

The workaround I found is entering the entire canonical URL (fully qualified). The plugin report an error, but when I save, the rule is created ok.

Is there a more practical & elegant way to redirect to an existing, multilingual page?

    thank you

Hey. Maybe I can set it to keep the ?lang= argument whenever it creates a redirect URL. I’ll have a look at that sometime.

Please try version 2.22.11 and let me know how it goes.

I’ll just assume this worked. Let me know if there are still issues with the ?lang= arguments being lost.

    thanks
