Manual Payment Options?

Not sure it is clear enough.

You always have payment template where you can write any text you need. that way people who can pay via PP or CC will pay so and those who can’t will give checks. Then you are able to Add Payment manually on Edit invoice page.

When you say “Payment Template” are you referring to the WYSIWYG editor on each individual invoice? If so this would place any manual information I type in that editor with the other invoice text above the invoice details (not the desired outcome).

The only reference that I have found for adding info for “Manual Payments” is under Settings -> Payment Tab -> Manual Payment Information (If an invoice has no payment gateways, this message will be displayed offering the customer guidance on their course of action.)

The above clearly states it’s not available unless I don’t select any gateways. It would be nice to be able to display that Manual Payment Info below the invoice details or in the Payment Method section when viewing the invoice (if content is added in that box).

Did I miss something along the way? Is there an additional template somewhere that I should be looking for to achieve this?

Fantastic plugin, however, I will agree to What Anton is saying. For us we will use it for an old age home, and simply send them an invoice to their email addresses. We would like to have it with an option to select Cash payment, pay by cheque, Cash on Delivery… all manual payments.

It seems the plugin is incredible up to the point of a simple manual payment method.

I’m talking about physically file that is responsible for invoice appearance. There is the ability to customize your templates. For this go to the settings https://usabilitydynamics.com/production/wp-content/uploads/assets/screencast_image/dd0ef36421498c62ef31b8900354bcde.png

After that go to your active theme and find ‘wpi’ folder there. There should be template files you need. The one named ‘invoice_page.php’ is what you need. You can change there anything you need. It will not be overwritten after plugin upgrade.

I only use the Manual Payment method for my invoices but I did not like the way the ‘Manual Payment Information’ appeared on the invioce. So to overcome this I created a new page in wordpress lets call it pageinvioce. On the pageinvioce I put my logo, company address and contact information, then the Web Invoice and Billing shortcode and then at the bottom of the page I put the Manual Payment information in a format of my choosing. Then that info appears on onevery invioce I send to a customer.
