    Hi there,

So not sure how long this has been missing, but for I remember this being an option in older versions of Woocommerce. Essentially there are certain orders that are manually made for my customers. I will add the items to the order and then send them the “Customer Payment Page” link for the order. In the past the it would allow the customer to select the shipping method they wanted to use. However it doesn’t seem to appear anymore. Was it removed? Didn’t the customers info also appear on this page, because that also seems gone as well.

You can still create orders manually in WooCommerce, and send the invoice to the customer. From there they can pay by logging into the site. Do you have any plugins that allow for this to be done differently? Please let us know.

It could be your theme your using too. Please use the Twenty Sixteen theme and check but I have seen it gone as well. The manual ordering process leaves much to shake their head. WC really messed this feature up. You can’t even use Dynamic Pricing with it for Wholesale accounts. I had to write my own script for that.

Manual orders will also throw an error if you don’t have the user’s billing address for the card they plan on using too. This part of WC is a mess and needs to be fixed/looked at right away.

Yes I can still make manual plug-ins. I am having an issue with how shipping is charged. I swear this was a feature in the past, but I can only roll back to V3.0. I tried doing a fresh install on a new website with the 2016 theme and only using the flat rate shipping options. So no other plug-ins. Let me explain with an example of what used to happen.

    1. I create a manual order for a custom.
    2. I add the products and fill in all their shipping/billing info.
    3. I leave shipping absent and tell them to log into to pay.
    4. They click pay and it shows their order and let’s them select what shipping method
they would like (cheap and slow vs fast and expensive), it calculates the rate based on weight, the total updates and they pay.

Now it seems that the shipping method ratios do not appear and thus the customer doesn’t get charged for shipping. My only option is to ask the customer ahead of time what method they want, look up the rate, then add it to the order before telling them to pay.

    Hi @spineticspinners

Typically issues like this are caused by a theme or plugin conflict. Try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if this resolves the issue. If so, then re-enable each one at a time until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

Did so and still doesn’t allow the customer to select a shipping method when paying for a manually created order.

    Hi @spineticspinners

I see what you mean now and I added the suggestion for a future enhancement:

If you’d like an immediate solution you could work with a developer to customize a solution for your website. We recommend one of the services listed on this page:

    Thanks,
