    Hi There,
I’m having some issues where if I create an order manually and then send it to the client, if they use a mobile phone to complete the payment, it doesn’t work.

So far I’ve only tested this on an iPhone, both Safari and Chrome. But other customers have also reported the same issues.

This is a breakdown of the steps to replicate the issue:
    1. Create order and send to client
    2. Client clicks on make payment link in email (on mobile phone)
    3. Link takes them to website checkout where they can review order
    4. Client clicks on Proceed to Payment, PayPal button
    5. They arrive at paypal.com in their browser where they fill in their credentials and choose payment method, then click ‘pay now’
    6. They return to the website cart page and it says ‘your cart is empty’

The order isn’t processed and no money is taken out.

If you replicate these steps on a desktop computer it works perfectly, no issues at all.

I should also mention that when purchasing from the website normally using a desktop or mobile it works perfectly too. This issue is only in regards to manual orders using a mobile phone

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks

    Hey there,

This sounds like it’s related to the specific PayPal plugin that you’re using, as it overrides the default WooCommerce process. If you’re still having trouble with it, can you post in the forum specific to that plugin?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I’ve encountered this exact same problem and like you, it is only prevalent on Manual orders created. Paypal works perfectly if it is used as a payment method through standard checkout.

Did you end up resolving this?

    Thanks!
