manual option in intervals of sending email

The easiest way to accomplish this is to exclude all categories in the Subscribe2->Settings page and make sure the setting where Registered Users can override is unchecked.

That means posts assigned to any category will not generate a post. As an additional safety measure you could check the box where it says “Disable email notifications is checked by default on authoring pages?” and this will add a postmeta value to stop sending to every new post you make.
